Pressure Washers

Pressure cleaners are essential for cleaning the exterior hard surfaces of automobiles. Pressure washers pump water or steam at high pressure levels onto the surface to blast away stains and impurities. These machines are ideal for removing oil stains, chemical blots, petroleum residues, mud, grease, tree sap, bird splatters, and more from automotive exteriors.

However, one must consider the specifications of pressure washers for auto detailing: that is, output pressure level, output temperature, and flow rate. Ideally, the output pressure level of pressure washers must be less than or equal to 1500 psi. A higher pressure level may harm the surface, while a pressure level too low may not clean effectively.

Output temperature is important as well. Steam output is the best for a mobile car wash. If steam is not an option, hot water should be used. Using a cold water machine will cause you to use extra water, resulting in excess run off. And, when traveling to a customer’s place of business, this is not an option.

Excess runoff is also a result of high flow rates. Therefore, moderate to low flow rates are ideal for cleaning automobiles in remote locations.

Carpet Cleaners

Carpet cleaners are also part of the auto detailing supplies needed. These are used mainly for cleaning the mats, seat upholstery, and other interior parts of a vehicle.

One must select a carpet cleaner that makes use of low flow technology. Otherwise, the seats and carpets of the vehicles will not dry as quickly as the vehicle owner wants. Also, damp carpets can lead to mold or mildew growth, particularly in environments with little air flow as with automobiles.

Carpet extractors are also available in heated or non-heated configurations. For the greatest cleaning power, purchase a heated carpet cleaner with temperatures up to 210°F.

Green Chemicals

Green chemicals are ideal for portable car wash services. These chemicals help in removing dirt and other impurities, but do not cause any harm to the vehicle, the people who travel in the vehicle, or the environment. It is better to select green products that are completely sourced from plants and readily biodegradable. Be on the look out for advanced green technologies that improve the cleaning power of these solutions.

Okay, so it was green, and it had four wheels, but they might have been put on in the wrong order, like the front wheels were in the back, and the wheels on the right may have been on the left, but I don’t know.

The headlights were glowing pretty bright when the headlights were on, and the engine made this kind of periodic mumbling sound when the car was on, like *BPFH* except a lot so it was more like *BPFBPFBPFBPFBPFBPFH*

I think my grandma used to drive one, if that helps, but she bought it recently and then died, so the car may or may not kill people, but I don’t think cars are alive because that’s silly, but it still may kill people. Okay, so it had a windshield that was made of transparent stuff, probably glass, but almost certainly not plastic, the windows were made of the same stuff.

The muffler was a kind of hollowed out metal cylinder, and whenever the car would go *BPFH* the muffler would go *FFSH* and then some smoke would come out. Is that a regular amount of smoke? The inside had at least two chairs, and some levers with pads on them for the driver to push down, like pedals. The glovebox was not green (remember, the car is green) and there were peppermint candies in the glovebox. There were no gloves.

Please help, I’m really desperate to figure out what kind of car this is.

Cars and other vehicles on the road have often been blamed as the cause of climate change, along with wasteful energy use. These vehicles perform just as well as regular cars but have green credentials that really help the driver save money.

This is hoped to encourage more people to switch to a greener vehicle as a cut in taxes is too good an opportunity to pass up.

The death toll has risen to 156 from the riot in Urumqi on 5 July 2009, the capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Li Yi, head of the publicity department of the Communist Party of China’s Xinjiang regional committee says the dead include 129 men and 27 women. He added that one-thousand and eighty people were injured. During the riot businesses were damaged and hundreds of vehicles were burned. The regional government says the situation is now under control. Serious violent crimes began in Urumqi at about 8 pm Sunday. Rioters attacked, smashed, looted and burned in various places downtown. Hundreds of civilians were injured. The woman was beaten to the ground and the rioter continued to kick her in the head. The rioters smashed many vehicles, including buses and police cars. The violence continued late into the night. Burning vehicles could be seen at many places in the city. he rioters also set fire to many stores. A Urumqi resident said, “The scene was tragic and very, very cruel.” This cigarette and liquor store was looted and burnt, but fortunately, the owner escaped. A Urumqi shop owner said, “It was about half past nine. At first I thought they would leave after smashing our store. While they were tearing things apart, my sister-in-law and I hid under the bed. car is leaking green fluid…?

which i’m guessing is coolant. but it’s leaking from the middle and right side and the coolant goes in at the very left. any ideas? i don’t have the money to repair it right away, so i’ve been putting water in it for the past week.. and doing that seems to help until i drive over 45 minutes to an hour, then starts to overheat. it’s never actually completely overheated though.
what i’m asking is, does it sound like the radiator, hose, what? i have an 98 oldsmobile, for about five years.. never any problems.

It could be leaking from the radiator, a hose, the water pump or a head gasket. Find someone who knows about cars to look at it.

Prices of fuel are rising day by day and the standard vehicles are posing a threat to the environment with the green house effect. This has prompted researchers to look for alternative sources of energy. In the vehicle, the internal combustion of the engine is the biggest contributor to pollution. Hybrid cars are now growing in popularity and attention because of these problems. There are a lot of manufacturers either working of making these cars or offering them for sale in the market.

There are two main types of hybrid cars: parallel hybrids and series hybrids. The former has both gas engine and batteries for electric motor. The car is run by a small gas engine and when there is additional power required, the electric comes to the rescue. This is necessary for increasing the speed. Honda is using this kind of technology right now.

The series hybrids, on the other hand, has a generator powered by a gas engine. This generator charges the batteries and then gives power to the electric motor. The gas engine cannot power up the automobile on its own. It comes only when circumstances ask for it, normally it is just the electric motor which runs all the time. The mileage of this vehicle is better when most of the work is done by the electric motor. This technology is currently used by Toyota and Ford. The gas mileage in hybrid cars is better than what you get in traditional cars. The hybrid automobiles give output of 20 to 30 miles per gallon more than the standard automobiles. Hybrid cars automatically shut off the engine when you stop the automobile. You save a lot of fuel this way. When the gas pedal is pressed, the engine gets switched on automatically. The gas engine also starts charging the batteries automatically when they are on low power.

The gasoline burned in hybrid cars is much less and hence the pollution is also lot less. The vehicles do not emit as many gases in the air as the standard automobiles. Emission of carbon dioxide is also a lot less. Many scientists hold CO2 responsible for global warming.

Hybrid cars are made up of the following parts –

Gas engine – it is smaller and better in energy efficiency as compared to traditional automobiles.

Fuel tank – this is also a bit smaller because hybrid cars don’t need much gasoline

Electric motor – this acts both as a generator and motor. The latter collects energy from the batteries for powering up the car acceleration. Energy is sent back to the batteries when you slow down. After that, the batteries get automatically recharged.

Batteries – These are required in a series in order to power up the electric motor.

Transmission – it is needed to propel the vehicle forward just like the traditional cars which are powered by automobiles.

Energy is recovered to the battery from the electric motor.  When you press the brake, the energy is transmitted from the motor to the battery again. This is called regenerative braking. It is needed to recharge the batteries and keep them in good working conditions.
